I use a GPS device but unless I'm in a totally unfamiliar town, I tend to deviate from the instructions given by the navigation system. This leads to a series of terse comments from the GPS such as "recalculating", said in such a way to make you feel a bit guilty. One of these days I fear my GPS is going to revolt against me and start intentionally leading me to places I don't want to go, like the middle of a lake. Guess I better heed the GPS instructions from now on.
