No matter how great the jack o'lantern design is that I dream up, it looks much less cool once the design is applied to a pumpkin. Not sure if I simply lose patience during the carving process or what the problem is. Rarely, if ever, am I happy with the end result. Maybe I should forego the carving and just tape my handmade drawings to the pumpkin and call it good.
