Sometimes people get on your nerves. They don't mean to (most of the time), but it happens. This comic was based on an actual experience I had recently. I had a really nasty cold, so on my way home from the office I decided to stop at a drug store and pick up cold medicine to help me cope and endure the cold I had. I looked like I'd been through the ringer. I bought only cold medicine and related items. After paying for the items, the cashier cheerfully and dutifully said, "Have a GREAT DAY!" Uh, yeah. OK, I'll try but the odds are against me on that one buddy! Perhaps I was expecting him to say, "hope you feel better" not "have a GREAT DAY!"
