Nothing makes me laugh more than watching a television commercial for some pharmaceutical product when they launch into the litany of possible side effects. Invariably the side effects sound worse than any benefit the product might provide! I once saw an ad for a product, I can't remember the exact product but for example's sake let's say it was one that alleviates headaches, I could swear one of the side effects was "may cause headaches". Um, ok, so why take it?
By the way, this cartoon marks the 1-year anniversary of the birth of Off Center comic! Thanks to those who have supported this silly little strip in its inaugural year. Hopefully there will be many more to come (and many worth coming back for).
