I've lost count the number of times a local weather forecaster assured us weather would do one thing but the weather did something completely different. Then during local news commercial breaks we're treated to these slick promos where they try to convince us their weather forecasters have god-like powers to predict the weather and are never wrong. Uh, ok. I understand weather is a dynamic force which makes predicting the weather very difficult, but don't pass yourself off as infallible. I wish I could be wrong in my job as often as weather forecaster are in their's. I've always said, weather forecasters have a great track record when it comes to predicting unchanging weather conditions, but to forecast actual weather changes, their success rate is nothing to be proud of.

Weather or Not

Interesting world weather forecasters live in. When you play the percentages game with weather forecasting, you're technically never wrong. Whatever the outcome happens to be, you can claim you predicted it as part of your percentage/estimation, no matter how unlikely. That's why there's a 100% chance I don't believe weather forecasters until the weather actually happens.

About Off Center Webcomic

Off Center is published weekly and is a family-friendly webcomic for people who like to laugh and maybe see the world in a slightly different way.

With all the filth on the Internet these days, hopefully this comic serves a refreshing oasis of fun and decency. And, most importantly, it is my hope that you enjoy this comic enough to return each week for the next installment. Always looking for comedic material so feel free to contribute!
