The way I see it, there are two kinds of people in the world today: those who do things and those who critize those who do things. I see it at work all the time, people who basically contribute nothing to society except for generating a constant barrage of critiques of things done by others. It has to be the easiest thing in the world to criticize something another person has done, but it is infinitely more difficult to get up and actually do/create something. People will look at a piece of abstract art and say something ignorant like, "uh, I could do that...", well, no you can't and you DIDN'T. But having said that, it is probably a good thing that I keep my guitar playing to myself in the privacy of my own home (at least I haven't received a phone call from a neighbor yet).
