Entering month two of desperately trying to find the Wii Fit product in stores. This innovative item connects to the Wii gaming console and facilitates various workouts. However, there's a massive shortage of this item. Stores are advertising great prices on this item, knowing full well they'll have none in stock when you venture out to their store. Seems borderline illegal if you ask me. I've come to learn that the Wii Fit is scarce because the dollar is doing so poorly, Nintendo can make more money by shipping most of their units to other markets, such as Europe. Can't blame them, but it sure frustrates one of their largest consumer bases. Like the cartoon says, I do think I get more of a workout going from store to store to try to find this item than what the product might actually do for me if I were to get my hands on one!

Oh, those day-after-Thanksgiving early "door buster" sales at local department stores! What would we do without them? Sleep in. I'm proud to say I've only indulged in this early morning ritual once or twice, but never before the doors were set to open. I've seen too many news footage clips showing hordes of women, from college age to senior citizens, turn a department store into their own version of Spain's running of the bulls, only more dangerous. Time to fear for your life! All for the honor of buying something they (or their intended recipients) don't need. But it is on sale, you must have it!
